Message Of The Year

On the 31st of December, 2020, members of FSMMI gathered together in a season of prayer and fasting as everyone set themselves to seek the face of the Lord for the fast approaching new year.

 

Words could not express our joy as the President of FSMMI, Sister Benedicta announced to us that the Spirit had given us a gift for the coming year in His Word to us, as she announced that 2021 is the year of THE NEW THING. 

She expounded the message saying “The Lord gave us a word in FSMMI, to show us His plan for 2021 as regards our marital destinies, whether single, married, about to get married or otherwise. Everyone needs a word that is connected to their marital destiny to help them fulfill it, and that’s the grace upon our ministry”.

The New Thing will cause the following:
1. Being uncomfortable in our present state
2. An end to ungodly relationships
3. Loss of appetites for desires, places, things or ideas that don’t please God.
4. Being focused on the things that truly matter

 TO EXPERIENCE THE NEW THING we must :
1. Start afresh with God like we just got saved
2. Trust God completely (Hebrews 11:8-9)
3. Be hungry for the word voraciously

Completely new
To Renew something that existed
To Repair something that existed, but was broken; 

To Rebuild.
To Renew oneself

Revelation 21:5
THE NEW THING (Kainos)
Recently made, fresh, unworn, unused, untouched.
New substance; of a new kind, unprecedented, novel, uncommon, unheard of.
Recently born; youthful, young, new.

ACTION POINTS:.

Take God seriously this new year. 

Root for the Word like never before.

PRAYER POINTS:

Thank the Lord for 2021
Ask the Lord for grace to forget the former things
Ask the Lord for the grace to trust in Him completely
Father this is my year of The New Thing; it will be my experience in every area.
