As a ministry, we teach what it means to look beyond what the eyes can see. FSM is a very spiritual ministry and we raise people to know how to see with the eyes of the Spirit.🙌🏼
Because, like I’ve said many times, we all marry a heart; whether the heart is in a tall or short body, rich or broke body, fat or thin body…
However, and this is the big HOWEVER, let me encourage you to be true to yourself…
Marry what you like (I mean your optical eyes)
If what you like is thin, don’t marry fat and start complaining.
If what you like is polished English, don’t marry wahala English and start forcing the person to shut up in public
If what you like is Catholic, don’t marry Presby and start trying to convert…
If you like fair, don’t marry dark and give him cream
If you like tall, don’t marry short and be drooling over tall men in church.
If you like boobs, don’t marry her and be staring at magazine ladies…
And this is my point of bringing this up…
God is not angry or disappointed that we have specs because He is the One at work in us, both to will and to do of His good pleasure. (Phil 2.13)
I think where we start having issues is when we worship the specs over the Will; where we box God with our specs.
There’s nothing wrong with praying for a spouse with a vision of the specs you want. The Bible says we should write the vision…
Where issues arise is when God can’t speak to us once our specs are not met, because He wants us 100% yeilded to Him…
And sometimes, the matter of specs takes us to the discussion on what we WANT vs what we NEED…
Bottom line: don’t be ashamed of having specs. God works in us to will it that way. And as you hold your specs in your vision, trust God to send you a spouse that works out to be your resting place….where you don’t ever have to turn your neck during service 🤤🤤
After all the spiritual qualities have been met (hopefully), marry WHAT YOU LIKE SEEING please…
